Charing cross bread baking follows a simple, no nonsense artisan tradition of baking honest breads with traditional methods. Our breads are always made from natural ingredients, allowed to rise and build slowly. Wherever possible, the ingredients we use are certified organic. Preservatives and additives are never used.

Charing Cross breads are breads from our past. They have strength and substance, chewier darker crusts, a lovely burnished quality and characteristics that reflect the baker’s hand individually folding each piece of dough.
